Face is like a canvas for an artist... Improve your skin's texture, firmness, radiance, softness, clarity, suppleness and tone. Here are some great tips to prep your skin up for a beautiful, healthy and flawless complexion. Cleansing Cleansing is important to remove dirt, makeup and other impurities that clog your skin. You should cleanse your skin at least twice a day with a mild, non-irritating cleanser like Kaya Moon. Your cleanser should not strip your skin of its natural oils and it should easily rinse away. Toning Using a toner dehydrates, cools, nourishes and refreshes your skin. Toners remove any remaining traces of dirt, makeup or oil your cleanser may have not removed. It's good to use a toner that is alcohol-free, as alcohol may dry your skin. Exfoliating Exfoliants help remove dead cells that accumulate on the surface of your skin. Exfoliants with Vitamins like Kaya Walnut Scrub improve the skin's rejuvenation process, eliminating fine lines and wrinkles. Make sure the exfoliant is not granular so you do not damage new skin. Baking soda is an effective, and gentle alternative to exfoliate your skin. Try mixing baking soda into your cleanser, forming a paste, and rub gently onto your face for about a minute. Rinse with lukewarm water. For best results follow with toner and moisturizer. Moisturising Just as the rest of you body requires hydration and nutrients, so do your skin. Your skin should be treated with a daytime moisturizer that provides a broad-spectrum sunscreen. At night, use an intense moisturizer to re-balance and normalize your skin as you sleep. Kaya Moist Sunscreen Good suncreens, not only protect your skin from sun damage, they also moisturize the skin. Use sunscreen that is PABA-free, water-resistant and having vitamin C and E. Some herbal sunscreens contain herbs that are good for the skin such as green tea, calendula, chamomile, rosemary etc. Kaya Silk Facial Masks Apply a facial mask once a week for that healthy and glowing skin. Facial masks help in removing dead skin, unclogging pores and prevent premature lines and wrinkles. Here is a simple recipe for making your own facial mask at home. Make a paste-like consistency by mixing small quantities of chopped cucumber, chopped avocado, egg white and 2 tsp milk. Apply the mask as it is or refrigerate it before using. Leave the mask on for 30 minutes, or until dry. To remove the mask simply rinse your face with warm water, followed by a cold water rinse. Finally, pat dry your face. And feel your skin looking soft and supple. If you want specialized mask use Kaya Bio-Fruit-Shine, Kaya Marrow, and Kaya Mask-1. These products contain all the necessary ingredients in perfect quantities fro special treatments. |
